*     Aaron: Situationally, it may appear on the surface that the resolution of any problem is to point out the flaws, but the recognition that there can be no peace between truth and error does not, in itself, bring answers as to how the truth becomes realized.  I wanted to take a moment tonight to explore how the resolution of disparity in thinking comes about

People who firmly believe their way is the right way, will not always, or often, take kindly to being presented with the flaws in their thinking when done from the perspective of “this is right, you are wrong.” For true understanding to occur, there has to be some underlying recognition of relationship, of the desire to do good and bring about good, not only for one side or the other side, but for all sides so that the awareness is shared of a higher pattern that overlays what was understood previously.

The world you have now is filled with information being shared daily, even every moment with the access to technology, such that there can seem to be multiple truths, alternative theories, different realities. The information and access to knowledge is vast, but the access to misinformation is profound, as well, and profoundly disturbing.

Systems of misinformation have been created, sometimes purposefully, sometimes in an evolutionary sort of way. It is possible to continuously have been presented such ideas daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, in such a way that one can firmly believe in a reality that is disconnected from truth. And when one has a preference as to the type of information they would receive, they tend to gravitate to their version of truth, which often leads to misinformation when it is difficult to look at a global perspective regarding facts, ideas, and their synthesis.
I share this to offer perspective that the real truth comes about as you resonate with a sense of wanting to know what is true by spending time in reflection and letting go of the need to guide outcomes toward a particular perspective.

Have empathy for the difficulties you all face, for the world of misinformation that overlays the information. Think about how you can find commonality with those you disagree with. If real truth is to be shared and synthesized and incorporated, it will begin there in the recognition of the commonality you have with each other as humans, not in the demonization of characters or parties, but in values, in recognizing what you do want to occur, not to focus on the errors in thinking as much as the principles of compassionate thinking, understanding, and embracing of your fellows.

Envision the world you do want together rather than what it is you don’t want, what it is you find to be evil, to be in error.  What would a compassionate world of strong, independent, hard working people be able to accomplish together when the noble values within each perspective are brought to the forefront?
